After an initial assessment, it is KEY to have a thorough prep session talking through current sleep, recommend changes, room assessment, and of course, walk through a step by step of how we are taking your baby and family from exhaustion to rest!
After our prep session, I will create a sleep plan and guide for you and your baby. This detailed document will bring to life our prep session allowing you to feel supported, confident and ready to kick off with sleep coaching!
Now that you have your sleep plan, we will collaborate and decide upon our Night 1 of coaching, and once we begin, you will have my coaching support for 2 weeks. In this time, we will solve for sleep struggles with implementation, daily tracking, coaching review, in order to get your little one sleeping! You will come out of the experience with relief, confidence, rest, and a plan to keep sleep on track!
With this education first approach to sleep coaching, my families have the tools and problem solving abilities to navigate life beyond coaching.

Hi! I am Anne. Mom of two and the founder of Empowered Decisions. I have personally coached and helped bring rest and sleep confidence to over 500 families around the SF Bay Area, U.S. & Globe.
As a first time mom, I was very much in love with my new baby, but struggling to understand sleep. We are told not sleeping is "normal" but that wasn't helpful and I needed a glimmer of light at the end of the tunnel. A couple months postpartum, a close friend shared her experience working with a sleep coach and to google I went. After just 1 call, I already felt reassured, more confident, and even took away some tips to apply to my newborn.
On maternity leave, I decided to explore a new career and become a sleep coach! A couple months later, my son was my first baby client and WOW, on Night 2 he slept 12 hours in his crib. I was blown away. I realized that sleep coaching didn't have the negative association I had heard about.
